Vampire Traits: Beauty, strength, speed, endurance, agility, seduction. He is the fastest runner out of all the Cullens, and possesses the ability to read others' minds. Bella Swan is the lone human whose mind he cannot, for whatever reason, read. Edward cannot eat food, and so he must drink animal blood to nourish himself. It is through Carlisle's teachings that the entire Cullens family stopped feeding on humans. Like any other vampire, he can walk outside in the daylight as long as there is no sun -- sunlight would cause his skin to sparkle like diamonds.
